Our Portraiture Program includes most standard sessions for Family, Maternity, Newborn, Baby, and Pets. These sessions may be in our studio or at a location of your choice. Many clients prefer either the privacy of their own homes, or perhaps have a lovely property that they would love to capture as well. We provide a fully portable studio so that you are sure to capture beautiful memories no matter which location you choose.
Our Portraiture Sessions are done in a multi step format to ensure you receive the highest quality and can make the most well informed decisions regarding image selection. The purpose of your session is to capture a selection of memories, select the perfect memory and display your memory in the home. This is accomplished in a convenient multi step approach:
Date Selection: This is often done over the telephone and you will select the date of your Creation. We will discuss some specifics to better understand your thoughts and desires for your session.
Creation Session: Your big day has arrived! Creation Fee is due prior to your session start so that we may focus on what is important, capturing your memories. We will become acquainted and review your portrait requirements prior to beginning. Please try and avoid last minute clothing changes so that the appropriate backgrounds may be prepared prior to your arrival. Please refer to our “Portraiture FAQ” for more indepth explainations. We typically will capture more than 60 images to ensure we have many choices to contemplate. Prior to departing you will schedule a convenient day to return to review your images.
Presentation Session: The time is now! It is important that everyone involved with the decision making process arrives for the presentation. This is an important decision that involves both emotion and financial investment. It is part of the experience and should be shared. You first will see the images presented by slideshow to enjoy the creation without interuption. We will then go through the pre-screened images to discuss each image in detail and begin rating, this will typically range from 12-20 images for you to review. You will select your favorites and we will discuss retouching that will be done.
Print Ordering: We require a $100 minimum print deposit. This will be credited to your Online Gallery to begin your final selection process and print ordering. If you have specific locations you would like to fill we recommend taking a photograph of the location with a yardstick included and emailing to our studio in advance. We can include this in your presentation so that you can see your image selection in the actual size relation to your room. This is an excellent tool when selecting Wall portraits size and multi image collections.
Portraiture Program Closure: We keep your image files available for one month after print delivery. After this period all images are archived for storage. We will attempt to contact you prior to closure to ensure your utmost satisfaction and to ensure further prints are not required.
